TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last Updated: 29 June 2026

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Green Block Group.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Green Block Group website, including the purchase of products through our online store.

By accessing, browsing, or placing an order through this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with any other policies or notices published on the website.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please discontinue use of the website.

Green Block Group reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of your transaction will generally apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.

2. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Green Block Group supplies personal protective equipment (PPE), workwear, safety equipment, tools, and related products.

All products displayed on the website are subject to availability.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, and other information displayed on the website are accurate and up to date. However, minor variations in colour, appearance, packaging, specifications, or product presentation may occur.

Green Block Group reserves the right to modify, replace, discontinue, or update products, product specifications, packaging, and pricing at any time, subject to applicable law.

3. PRICING

All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT, where applicable.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where otherwise permitted by law.

While Green Block Group takes reasonable care to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occasionally occur.

If a pricing error is identified before an order has been accepted, Green Block Group reserves the right to correct the error and, where applicable, cancel the affected order. If payment has already been made and the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled at the incorrect price, the amount paid will be refunded.

4. ORDERS

Placing an order through the website constitutes an offer by the customer to purchase the selected products.

An order will only be considered accepted once Green Block Group has confirmed acceptance of the order and payment has been successfully received or otherwise approved.

Green Block Group reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving:

  • insufficient stock;
  • pricing or product information errors;
  • suspected fraudulent or unauthorised transactions;
  • incorrect product information;
  • payment failure; or
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, Green Block Group will arrange an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law.

5. PAYMENT

Payment must be successfully received and cleared before goods are dispatched, unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed to in writing.

Available payment methods will be displayed during the checkout process.

Green Block Group reserves the right to withhold dispatch of an order until payment has been verified.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all payment and billing information supplied during checkout is accurate.

6. DELIVERY

Orders are delivered using independent third-party courier and logistics providers.

Our estimated delivery period is generally 3 to 5 working days from confirmation of payment and completion of order processing. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on:

  • delivery location;
  • stock availability;
  • order processing;
  • public holidays;
  • weather conditions;
  • courier operating conditions;
  • remote or outlying delivery areas; and
  • circumstances beyond Green Block Group’s reasonable control.

Courier charges will be calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and applicable delivery options.

6.1 Delivery Address

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact details supplied during checkout are complete, accurate, and current.

Green Block Group will not be responsible for additional delivery charges, failed deliveries, or delays resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address or contact information supplied by the customer.

Where a re-delivery is required as a result of incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, any reasonable additional courier charges may be payable by the customer.

6.2 Courier Delays

Green Block Group is not responsible for delays caused by independent third-party courier or logistics providers, provided that Green Block Group has complied with its obligations in respect of the order.

Where a courier delay occurs, we will, where reasonably possible, assist the customer in obtaining an update from the relevant courier.

6.3 Risk and Delivery

Risk in the goods will pass to the customer in accordance with applicable law.

Customers should inspect their order upon delivery and notify Green Block Group as soon as reasonably possible of any visible damage, shortages, or incorrect products.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any rights the customer may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

7. RETURNS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES AND WARRANTIES

Green Block Group aims to provide customers with quality products and reliable service.

Returns, refunds, repairs, replacements, and exchanges will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) where applicable.

7.1 Defective or Faulty Products

Where a product is defective, unsafe, of unacceptable quality, or otherwise does not comply with applicable consumer protection requirements, the customer may have statutory rights to return the product and request an appropriate remedy, subject to the provisions of applicable law.

The CPA provides statutory protections for qualifying consumer transactions, including an implied warranty of quality.

7.2 Workpro Products

Where applicable, Workpro products carry a manufacturer’s or supplier’s 12-month warranty, subject to the applicable manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty terms.

This additional warranty does not replace or limit any statutory rights that a consumer may have under South African law.

Warranty claims may require the product to be inspected to determine the nature and cause of the fault.

The warranty may not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, negligence, or use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions, where such exclusions are permitted by law.

7.3 Incorrect or Damaged Products

Customers should notify Green Block Group as soon as reasonably possible if:

  • the wrong product was delivered;
  • products are missing from an order;
  • goods were visibly damaged during delivery; or
  • the goods do not correspond with the order.

Customers may be requested to provide photographs, order information, or other reasonable information to assist with investigating the matter.

Nothing in this section limits any rights available to consumers under applicable law.

7.4 Change-of-Mind Returns

Where applicable, unused products may be eligible for return or exchange, subject to Green Block Group’s applicable returns policy and the customer’s statutory rights.

Products should, where possible, be returned unused and in their original packaging with all accessories, labels, manuals, and components.

Certain products, including personalised, specially manufactured, custom-made, hygiene-sensitive, clearance, or special-order products, may be excluded from voluntary change-of-mind returns where permitted by law.

8. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Green Block Group makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all product information published on the website is accurate.

However:

  • product images are provided for illustrative purposes;
  • colours may appear differently depending on the customer’s screen;
  • manufacturers may change packaging or specifications;
  • product dimensions and specifications may be subject to manufacturing tolerances; and
  • products supplied may differ slightly in appearance from website images.

Such differences will not affect a customer’s statutory rights where the product does not conform to the description, specifications, or applicable legal requirements.

9. WEBSITE USE

Customers agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly.

You may not:

  • use the website for unlawful purposes;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to website systems or accounts;
  • submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; or
  • use the website in a manner that may damage Green Block Group or its customers.

Green Block Group reserves the right to suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its customers, or the business.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Green Block Group will not be liable for losses or damages arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including failures or delays caused by third-party service providers, courier companies, telecommunications providers, payment providers, or other external circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited under South African law.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The website may make use of third-party service providers, including payment processors, courier companies, hosting providers, technology providers, and other service providers.

Where third-party services are used, their own terms and conditions and privacy policies may also apply.

Green Block Group is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, systems, or policies of third-party service providers, except to the extent required by applicable law.
